Welcome
• Cardiovascular disease remains the no. 1 cause of death in the United States.
• It is estimated that this year, cardiovascular disease will take the life of close to 800,000 American men and women, with approximately 300,000 of those deaths resulting from Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
While the facts are startling, amidst these bleak statistics there remains extraordinary hope. With appropriate early-detection and risk reduction many of these deaths are highly preventable.
The Dick Butkus Center for Cardiovascular Wellness is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives by empowering all individuals to reduce their risk of cardiovascular disease and sudden cardiac death through education, awareness and preventive cardiac screening.
Together we can make a difference.
