Receives $10,000 Donation from Ralphs Grocery Company

ORANGE, Calif. Jan. 23, 2008-- Ralphs representatives presented The Dick Butkus Center for Cardiovascular Wellness a $10,000 donation to help subsidize the cost of echocardiogram and electrocardiogram screenings and EBCT Heart Scans for women.

The funds were generated through a fund-raising program held in all Ralphs supermarkets last October benefiting women’s cancer and heart health charities.

A check presentation ceremony was held Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at The Dick Butkus Center in Orange.  NFL Hall of Famer Dick Butkus accepted the donation from Ralphs at the presentation ceremony.
