About Us
Who We Are
The Dick Butkus Center for Cardiovascular Wellness is a California nonprofit corporation and an IRS-recognized 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization situated in Orange County, CA.
Through our one-of-a-kind cardiac screening programs, we offer safe, non-invasive and painless cardiac screenings that make it possible to detect risk factors associated with sudden cardiac arrest and other forms of heart disease.
We also offer patients and their families’ access to education and support resources as well as specialized programs to empower them with the tools to prevent, detect, delay or even reverse the onset of cardiovascular disease. Furthermore, The Center has a special focus on increasing awareness of risk factors not commonly known to the public. Our goal is to prevent any needless suffering and loss of life by supplying programs to help identify high risk individuals, and access to resources that can help save their lives.
Our Mission
Our mission is to transform the heart health of all individuals through active outreach, education and screening to prevent and detect cardiovascular disease and prevent sudden cardiac death.
Our Vision
Our vision is that through education, awareness and early-detection we can reduce the loss of life from sudden cardiac death and heart disease, improve the quality of life for those with cardiovascular disease and keep families and loved ones together longer.
